Raymond E Vickery is currently a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson international Centre for Scholars in Washington, DC. He is a leading author and advisor on US-India relations and served as the US Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Trade Development within President Bill Clinton’s Administration.
At Vedica, Raymond spoke about the history and future of Indo-US relations. He highlighted Clinton’s first visit to India and told the Scholar’s interesting anecdotes from that time. He emphasised on greater economic engagement between the two countries and spoke about the role of women in strengthening the economic ties.
