At Crescent School of Business, (CSB), we push you to aim higher and take advantage of the myriad possibilities now open to you. Right from the orientation, the programme is designed to nurture the student’s strengths and work upon their development needs thereby ensuring they are fully prepared to sit for their placements. We enable 1:1 mentorship with an industry leader in your area of interest for guidance through the programme.

The founding batch started the year with a module on Personal Growth where they undertook psychometric tests, self-reflection sessions, SWOT analysis to understand their strengths etc. Our Director, Deepa Kapoor, has been working with each student on a 1:1 basis to guide them on specific roles and companies that best combine their strengths with their passion.

CSB is committed to aid the professional and personal development of all its students. Graduates will not only be leaders but also individuals of character who will make a significant impact wherever they go. The Mentorship programme is a step in this direction, where each student gets the unique opportunity to be mentored by some of the most accomplished professionals in the region.

Each student is assigned a mentor after the professional development team profiles them, and gets an idea of who they would like to be mentored by. Mentors commit to interacting with their mentees at least once every term, over the course of 8 terms, using a mode of communication that is most suitable for them. Should they wish, they can extend their interaction to beyond the course by mutual consent. Here are the mentors who will work with CSB’s Founding Batch, the Class of 2016-17:

Personalized Growth Plan

When a student joins the 1-year PGDM at CSB, he/she is profiled and their strengths and areas of improvement are noted. Through individual coaching, personality tests, leadership workshops, we work on leveraging your strengths towards a leadership role. In our curriculum, there is an entire track dedicated to nurturing the leader in you. This is done through a clever mix of courses like Authentic Leadership, Business Communication, Responsible Leadership, Entrepreneurial Leadership and several more.
