Tan’ Sri Dato’ Sri Prof. Sahol Hamid Bin Abu Bakar is the Vice Chancellor of B.S.Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology; the first foreign Vice Chancellor of an Indian University. He is a distinguished academician and administrator with experience spanning four decades in teaching, research, engineering consultancy, leadership and governance.

His education and career has taken him to various universities around the world viz., UiTM-Malaysia, University of Stuttgart-Germany, Colorado State University–USA and University of Sussex-UK. His proficiency in Blue Ocean Strategy has been instrumental in bringing about a phenomenal transformation in the educational institutions he has headed. His expertise in management and his administrative acumen has culminated in providing training to other Vice Chancellors and senior administrators of various higher educational institutions in India on leadership skills. His invited lecture on Leadership with focus on Blue Ocean Strategy in Higher Education at Oxford University, UK has been appreciated by the university leaders and by the participants from Nigeria.

Prof. Sahol is the recipient of various awards and honors; Tan’ Sri and Dato’ Sri being the highly recognized awards in Malaysia.

Dr. Vaseehar Hassan is an alumnus of University of Aston (UK), HEC (France), INSEAD (France) and Vrije University (Netherlands). He is one of the pioneers in South East Asia’s executive and development coaching. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi conglomerate, Dallah Al Baraka’s portfolio of businesses in Malaysia. Dato’ Vaseehar also served as Chairman of RHB Islamic Bank Bhd, Chairman of the Board of Unicorn International Islamic Bank Malaysia Berhad and the Chairman of Utama Merchant Bank Berhad.

Dr.Srinivasan has professional experience of 26+ years in Industry and Academics. After 6 years of experience in the field of Sales and Marketing, he worked as a Management teacher at Kongu Engineering College – Erode, ICFAI Business School – Chennai and Jansons School of Business – Coimbatore for around 10 years.

In 2007, he took a break from teaching to work as Head- Strategic Alliances at Everonn Systems India Limited, Chennai for around 2 years. Since then Dr.Srinivasan had been working as Professor of Marketing and Strategy at Jansons School of Business – Coimbatore before taking up his current assignment as Dean- Crescent School of Business.

He has won Gold medal & awards for his professional & academic achievements. He has presented highly commended papers in National & International conferences.

He has participated in a number of Faculty Development Programmes sponsored by AICTE & UGC and organised by leading business schools including IIM – Bangalore / ISB- Hyderabad / MDI- Gurgaon in India.

Dr. Srinivasan completed his Bachelor’s degree from The American College, Madurai and MBA from Dept. of Mgmt. Studies (DOMS), Madurai Kamaraj University. He has earned his Ph.D in the area of Consumer Complaining Behaviour.

Balaji Consults, Trains and Teaches B2B Sales & Digital Marketing

As a Visiting Faculty, Balaji has taught various subjects in Marketing at TAPMI, NIT Calicut, Great Lakes, LIBA, GIM, CEG Guindy and has done guest lectures across multiple leading B-Schools in the country

Balaji comes in with around 20 years of sales experience in the IT Industry. As VP of Sales for over a decade, he has run large inside sales teams for over a decade and specializes in selling software to the Global Market on the phone. He also has selling experience in US and UAE for close to 2 years.

Balaji founded a Sales Process Consulting and Digital Marketing Consulting firm (www.scovelo.com) in June 2013, and works with IT Services and Products Companies. He streamlines their Sales and Digital process, trains the teams and helps them achieve a Consistent Sales Engine.

He runs www.firstfewcustomers.com, a startup sales demystification portal. He interviews successful founders and publishes their Sales and Digital Marketing secrets on how they got their First Few Customers when they were startups. This has more than 160 interviews. He does this as a contribution to the startup ecosystem from a sales perspective.

He is a regular speaker across the e-cells/e-summits of IITs and IIMs. He has done more than 100 workshops across Nasscom, TiE, NEN and leading accelerators across the country.

T. Pattabiraman, worked as Vice-President in M.M.Exports, a Govt. of India recognised Export House with $100 Million turnover in exports of Projects, Institutions Supplies, Equipment / Materials, Commodities and is the Senior Consultant of many other group companies.

He had a luminary career in Ashok Leyland, India, a leading Commercial Vehicle manufacturer and exporter and held position finally as General Manger-Exports. He also had a stint in Binnys and in State Trading Corporation of India (A Govt. of India Enterprise) for 12 years prior to joining Ashok Leyland.

He has an experience in International Business spanning over 40 years in both Public and Private sectors in India.

He has visited more than 150 countries, multiple entries, on work and business for initiating Joint Ventures and Tie-Ups with various companies and also on Consultancy.

He is the Member of Apex Committees of CII / FIEO / ASSOCHEM / EEPC / FICCI / MMA and other such Export Promotional Bodies in India. He teaches regularly in all these fora and conducts development programmes in Foreign Trade. He also takes part in Industry-Institutional interactions. He is the Advisor to the International Desk in CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) and CSIR (Council of Scientific & Industrial research) Education Programmes under the Govt. of India. He is a regular Faculty in FIEO.

He has been also a faculty in many institutions like IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade-Min. of Commerce) / IIMM (Indian Institute of Material management) and in Universities delivering Guest Lectures in Foreign Trade. He is also the member of the Selection Panel of IIFT and University Groups. He is the Member – Board of Studies for many Deemed Universities. He is a Mentor in HCL Tech. & HP, leading I.T. MNCs for their Foreign Trade Education and BPO Operations in USA.

He is currently the Professor in Chennai Business School (CBS) teaching International Business and Cross-Cultural Management. He also teaches in MOP Vashinava College, International Business & IHRM for MBA / MA / M.COM / B.Com and in Ethiraj College for MBA.

He has been keenly associated with the Govt. of India Task-Forces nominated from the Trade & Industry.

He holds a master’s Degree in Engineering, Management and from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. He is a Chartered Engineer being a Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a Member of the Commonwealth Engineer’s Council.

M.B.A and Ph.D. in Business Administration (HRM) with about 30 years of corporate leadership experience in the field of Human Resource Management in IT, Engineering and Manufacturing and Service Sectors.

Currently serving as Visiting Faculty at IFMR and SSN School of Management, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
