Visiting Faculty

Dr. Vaseehar Hassan is an alumnus of University of Aston (UK), HEC (France), INSEAD (France) and Vrije University (Netherlands). He is one of the pioneers in South East Asia’s executive and development coaching. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi conglomerate, Dallah Al Baraka’s portfolio of businesses in Malaysia. Dato’ Vaseehar also served as Chairman of RHB Islamic Bank Bhd, Chairman of the Board of Unicorn International Islamic Bank Malaysia Berhad and the Chairman of Utama Merchant Bank Berhad.

Mr.Robert Boxwell was the Founder and Managing Director of SAN FRANCISCO COFFEE and COFFEE PARTNERS LTD. He has written many articles and Harvard Cases in the areas Finance and Strategy.

He is an MBA graduate from Harvard Business School and a recipient of Exxon Corporation’s Teagle Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence.

David Heng is the founder of Global Leadership Dynamics Asia, a global leadership solutions company, focused on organization leadership coaching and consulting. David has 20 years of progressively responsible corporate experience in Asia, Europe and North America spanning a variety of organizations, industries and functional areas in both the private and public sectors.

Most recently, he served as Head and Managing Director, Talent Management and Culture Building for CIMB Group operations. He established the CIMB Academy, a corporate academy supporting more than 40,000 employees worldwide. David has a BA degree in Mass Communications and Economics from the National University of Singapore and a MS in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University, USA.

Rev. Dr. Fr. Casimir Raj S.J. specialized in Business Administration from St.Louis University, St. Louis, U.S.A. He has made significant contributions as founder of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) developed the institution from 53rd position to 9th at the national level during his leadership. The institution extends its resources to all aspiring business administrators at various levels. After the valuable contribution to LIBA, Dr. Fr. Casimir Raj S.J. extended his service to Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI) as Director where his untiring, creative and skillful leadership elevated the standard of the institution to 6th position at national level.

Fr. Casimir Raj has been associated with education and teaching marketing for the past three decades in various institutions including XLRI Jamshedpur; St. Louis University, Missouri; Wheeling Jesuit College, Wheeling and XIM Bhubaneshwar. He was the founder Director of LIBA and Principal of Loyola College, Chennai. He was also Director, XIM Bhubaneshwar, Goa Institute of Management. A member of the American Marketing Association and a Ph.D. from St. Louis University, (in Missouri, USA), Fr. Casimir is widely regarded to be an authority in marketing with numerous publications to his credit.

Dr. Sadakkadulla is a central banker with over 35 years of experience at the Reserve Bank of India. Most recently, he was the Regional Director of the Chennai Region, overseeing the states of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Dr. Sadakadulla has been an active academic and taught across various institutions. He was the Principal of the Reserve Bank Staff College between 2010 and 2013 and has been serving on the academic councils of various institutions including the Loyola Institute for Business Administration. He has participated in several national and international conferences and was awarded the RBI’s Golden Jubilee Full Scholarship for Overseas Study to pursue a masters programme in Finance at the Arthur D. Little School of Management in Boston, where he graduated as Dean’s Fellow. He has been published multiple times in various journals, guides and books.

As a Visiting Faculty, Balaji has taught various subjects in Marketing at TAPMI, NIT Calicut, Great Lakes, LIBA, GIM, CEG Guindy and has done guest lectures across multiple leading B-Schools in the country

Balaji comes in with around 20 years of sales experience in the IT Industry. As VP of Sales for over a decade, he has run large inside sales teams for over a decade and specializes in selling software to the Global Market on the phone. He also has selling experience in US and UAE for close to 2 years.

Balaji founded a Sales Process Consulting and Digital Marketing Consulting firm (www.scovelo.com) in June 2013, and works with IT Services and Products Companies. He streamlines their Sales and Digital process, trains the teams and helps them achieve a Consistent Sales Engine.

He runs www.firstfewcustomers.com, a startup sales demystification portal. He interviews successful founders and publishes their Sales and Digital Marketing secrets on how they got their First Few Customers when they were startups. This has more than 160 interviews. He does this as a contribution to the startup ecosystem from a sales perspective.

He is a regular speaker across the e-cells/e-summits of IITs and IIMs. He has done more than 100 workshops across Nasscom, TiE, NEN and leading accelerators across the country.

T. Pattabiraman, worked as Vice-President in M.M.Exports, a Govt. of India recognised Export House with $100 Million turnover in exports of Projects, Institutions Supplies, Equipment / Materials, Commodities and is the Senior Consultant of many other group companies.

He had a luminary career in Ashok Leyland, India, a leading Commercial Vehicle manufacturer and exporter and held position finally as General Manger-Exports. He also had a stint in Binnys and in State Trading Corporation of India (A Govt. of India Enterprise) for 12 years prior to joining Ashok Leyland.

He has an experience in International Business spanning over 40 years in both Public and Private sectors in India.

He has visited more than 150 countries, multiple entries, on work and business for initiating Joint Ventures and Tie-Ups with various companies and also on Consultancy.

He is the Member of Apex Committees of CII / FIEO / ASSOCHEM / EEPC / FICCI / MMA and other such Export Promotional Bodies in India. Sandhya Rao has been working in the media for many years, as a print journalist, books editor and children’s books writer. She is one of India’s best children’s book authors and has written about 25 books for children in English, many of which have been translated into other Indian languages. In 2006, she was one of only two children’s authors from India to be invited to the Frankfurt Bookfair. Several of her books have received international acclaim across various forums including the Berlin Literary Festival and the US Board on Books for Young People.

Sandhya has worked in editorial capacities at Indian Express, India Today, Frontline magazine, Tata McGraw-Hill, Tulika Print Communications, and Tulika Publishers. Since 1979, she’s been contributing articles and features to magazines and newspapers, and writes a fortnightly column called ‘Pictures & Words’ for BusinessLine’s online paper for management students, BL on Campus. Currently, she is an editorial consultant with the Hindu BusinessLine in Chennai.

Sandhya has a master’s in English Literature from Madras University (Madras Christian College).
